Micah Clark, executive director of the American Family Association of Indiana, has provided excellent fodder in the past for posts here at AI, and a quick look at the group's website and the latest opinions Clark has to share with us provides us with plenty of food for thought.
A comment attached to a link to a story about 9 men being nabbed in an Internet child predator sting attempts to connect pedophilia to sexual orientation. Clark ponders, "Thank goodness that pedophilia is still regardless (sic) as a shameful sexual orientation. But For How Long?" Clark implies in his statement that pedophilia and homosexuality are both " sexual orientations", except that homosexuality is no longer considered shameful. The story Clark references involved men who solicited sex with a 14-year old girl. I guess we should be grateful he didn't mention bestiality as being a sexual orientation as well.
Clark tells us that a former member of the MCCC church will be speaking at the Calvary Baptist Church to dispel the "myth of gay theology." Clark describes Joe Dallas as a "former MCCC member and gay-theology advocate turned Christian." I guess we're suppose to take from Clark's comment that Dallas was not a Christian when he belonged to MCCC, presumably because it affirms "homosexuality", even though it is a Christian church. And while we're on the subject of MCCC, you can also check out Micah's latest podcast on "Would Jesus Discriminate (Again)?" in response to the church's recent "Would Jesus Discriminate?" campaign to educate people on the true meaning of Biblical verses cited as condemning "homosexuality."
And there's yet another reference this week to homosexuality. There's always lots of talk about homosexuality over at the AFA. Clark recommends that you read this week an article by two "Christian" doctors entitled "Does Birth Order Predict Homosexual Behavior?" Of course it doesn't these two write.
Clark also gets in a plug for two Republican legislators this week. Rep. Woody Burton is applauded for his "In God We Trust" special license plate, while Rep. Jackie Walorski (R), who is facing a tough re-election battle, is applauded for pledging to sponsor a bill "to keep Govt. shrinks from questioning Hoosier youngsters without parental supervision." At the same time, he recommends for you're reading this week an article entitled, "Not Your Father's Democratic Party" by Tim Chapman. The American Family Institute of Indiana is a nonprofit organization, which means it cannot endorse candidates or otherwise participate in partisan politics. Yeah right.

God knows they'd do the same if the shoe were on the other foot.
She's a pathetic, under-educated moron. It used to be amusing. It's not any more.
Her vote counts the same as yours and mine. Now there's a tragedy.
All we can do to counter it, is become involved, vote and contribute time and money to candidates who aren't as hateful as Micah.
Those candidates need our help.

He can still be non partisan and support candidates that are Republicans. The republican party doesn't own the value of being anti gay.
